Gurugram Viral Video

Gurugram Viral Video: A heartbreaking video has gone viral in Gurugram, showing a weeping mother demanding justice for her son, Akshat Garg, who tragically lost his life after being hit by a car that was driving on the wrong side of the road. The video, which has sparked widespread outrage, reveals the pain of a grieving mother who is asking why the person responsible for her son’s death was released on bail.

A Mother’s Pain: ‘Why was he released on bail?’

In the viral video, the devastated mother can be seen crying and expressing her anguish. She accuses the police of not offering the help her family needed in their quest for justice. With tears in her eyes, she questions why the man responsible for her son’s death, identified as 25-year-old Kuldeep Kumar Thakur, was granted bail so quickly.

“I want justice for my son. A wrong person killed my son. My only question is why was he released on bail? My son is no more, but he (accused) slept peacefully that night… Why is the police not helping us?” the grieving mother said in the video.

The viral video has touched the hearts of many across social media, who are calling for stricter action against wrong-side driving and demanding justice for Akshat’s family.

The Fatal Accident – What Happened?

Akshat Garg, a young resident of Pochanpur in Dwarka, was out for a bike ride with his fellow bikers on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road in DLF Phase 2. Tragedy struck when an SUV, driven by Kuldeep Kumar Thakur, hit Akshat’s bike, leading to his untimely death. Thakur, a resident of Ghitorni and co-founder of a PR company, was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road at the time of the accident.

Akshat’s friend, Pradyuman Kumar, who was riding with him, lodged an FIR against Thakur. Despite this, Thakur was granted bail shortly after the incident, adding to the family’s grief.

Police Response

Following the outcry over the Gurugram viral video and the tragic death of Akshat, a senior police officer made a statement regarding the case. He confirmed that Thakur had undergone a medical examination and blood samples were collected as part of the investigation. The officer assured that the accused had joined the investigation and was granted bail in accordance with the law.

However, the officer also highlighted the broader issue of wrong-side driving, stating, “We take wrong-side driving seriously and have issued over 16,300 challans for the offense in August alone. Action against violators will continue.”

Call for Stricter Action Against Wrong-Side Driving

The tragic accident that claimed Akshat Garg’s life has reignited the conversation around road safety in Gurugram, especially with the growing number of accidents caused by wrong-side driving. While the police claim they have taken steps to address the issue, the question remains whether these measures are enough to prevent further tragedies.
