In the video, the interviewer asks Dhirendra Shastri about his views on the Hindu population compared to the population of other communities. To this, Dhirendra Shastri responds, “9 rajye mein alpsankhyak hogaye hai, ye fact hai.” He further questioned why the government promotes limiting families to two children when some families have 12 children. He added, “Aapke sarkar ke log kehte hai bache 2 achche par unke 12 kyu achche? Ya toh 2 ho toh unke bhi 2 ho, nhi toh humne toh bhaiya thaan liya hai, balki humara abhi vivah nahi hua hai, lekin 14 hona chahiye.”
The interviewer, surprised by his statement, asked, “So when you get married, you announce on a national channel that you will have 14 children?” Dhirendra Shastri’s response was, “Agar wo nahi maanenge, toh hum aage batayenge.” Further pressed about the 14 kids, he said, “Shamta Rahi Toh 14 Bachche Karenge.”
Dhirendra Shastri’s Message on Caste and Untouchability
In the same interview, Dhirendra Shastri took a firm stance against untouchability, a practice that still affects parts of Hindu society. He said, “It is often said that people should remove their slippers before entering temples. I would say that people should leave behind feelings of caste and untouchability and enter temples with respect.” He added, “In this country, there are no Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, or Shudras—there are only Hindus. We must express unity and accept everyone, forgetting caste discrimination, so that the future of everyone remains secure.”
