The Indian currency’s worth was different from what it is today back in the 1980s. Every rupee was important and highly appreciated back then. And we no longer frequently convert rupees for the same amount now. When it was first released in 1986, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc, which now costs a few lakhs, was priced at 18,700 INR. A bill from Bokaro Steel City, in Jharkhand, is supposedly showed in the photograph that has gone viral.
The bullet was also used by the Indian Army
The “Enfield Bullet” moniker was given to the Royal Enfield Bullet in 1986. The Indian army employed it for border patrol since it was a dependable motorcycle.
Sandeep Auto Company, situated in Jharkhand, is the company that makes the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Standard model that was depicted on the widely circulated bill.
