Viral Video: Today, businessman Anand Mahindra showed his appreciation for an old guy named Sudhir Bhave, who is well-known for his creative cycle designs, with a heartfelt post on X. Anand Mahindra even offered Bhave the use of the Mahindra workshop in Vadodara, Gujarat, for his innovative experiments, praising his “irrepressible creativity and energy.”

Anand Mahindra’s Heartfelt Appreciation

In his post, Mahindra shared a short video where Bhave, a retired mechanical engineer, spoke about his hobby of designing cycles with innovative features. Bhave has modified numerous cycles, including some that serve as workout machines.

Impressed by Bhave’s skills and dedication, Mahindra shared Bhave’s inspiring story, which had appeared in his inbox. “I bow low to Sudhir Bhave’s irrepressible creativity and energy. Sudhir has shown that innovation and startup spirit in India are not just for the young! If you want to use the workshop of our Vadodara factory for your experiments, do let me know. No Sudhir, you are not ‘retired.’ You are in the most active and innovative period of your life,” Mahindra said.

Innovative Cycle Designs for Fitness

Bhave demonstrated some of his specially designed cycles that feature rollers for upper body exercises. He also showcased an electric cycle that can be ridden manually if the battery is discharged.

Challenges and Dedication

Bhave mentioned that not having his own workshop means he has to rely on others for workspace, which extends the time needed for his projects. “It takes around a month to complete work on one cycle. I do not have a specific target. My worker and I take up a project whenever we have time,” he explained.
