Viral Video: Devotees are totally committed to worshipping Lord Shiva as they set out on the Kanwar Yatra during the holy month of Sawan. Among these passionate followers is Mohit, a wonderful person whose amazing journey is winning people over. Walking on one leg, Mohit is carrying a Kanwar that holds 61 litres of Ganga water, demonstrating his undying dedication and willpower.
Mohit’s Journey of Faith
Mohit, who is from Sonipat, Haryana, has a path that demonstrates more than just his devotion—it also highlights his tenacity. He changed his life by becoming a bodybuilder and feels proud to have won multiple gold medals in competitions after overcoming cancer in his leg. Among his many notable accomplishments are being one of Maharashtra’s top models and being named Mr. India ten times. Among his many honours are the titles Mr. Delhi, Mr. UP, Mr. Haryana, and Mr. World.
A Sacrifice for Devotion
Mohit was working at Zomato but he made the decision to quit in order to take part in the Kanwar Yatra this year. Mohit seems unfazed by obstacles in his path, such as glass getting stuck in his foot. His strong religious beliefs are seen in his conviction that only those selected by Lord Shiva are worthy of carrying the Kanwar. He completed the same Kanwar Yatra last year, so this is not his first time doing it. Sadly, he hasn’t been able to get a prosthetic leg because of financial limitations.
Viral Video and Community Support
Arun Vashisth’s YouTube channel posted a video of Mohit’s inspirational journey. Mohit’s tenacity is shown in the video as he takes the Kanwar from Haridwar to Sonipat. His spirit has touched many viewers, and several have expressed their respect in the comments. One user remarked, “Har Har Mahadev,” while another wished, “Baba aapki sari manokamna puri kare,” showcasing the community’s support for Mohit.
