The incident took place at DS Hospital, located on Maholi Road, where MLA Rajesh Chaudhary’s mother, Premwati, was admitted in serious condition. On Sunday morning, the MLA’s relatives, including his brother Jitendra Singh and nephew Dev Chaudhary, became agitated when hospital staff prevented them from entering the ICU. Eyewitness accounts indicate that the family members forcefully entered the area and began to physically assault the staff members, identified as Pratap and Satpal. In the chaos, one of the assailants reportedly broke a staff member’s mobile phone.

Following the incident, both parties lodged complaints with the local police. Dr. Lalit Varshney, the owner of the hospital, filed a formal complaint against the MLA’s relatives at the Highway police station. Meanwhile, the MLA’s representative, Jaswant, also registered a counter-complaint against the hospital staff.
