Viral Video: A disturbing video has emerged from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, showing a shocking act of public humiliation involving forced labor. The video has quickly gone viral, drawing widespread condemnation. The incident revolves around a man whose refusal to comply with the demands of an influential family in the village led to severe punishment. The influential individuals allegedly wanted him to take care of their animals, providing food and water, but when he refused, he faced brutal consequences.
Viral Video: Jhansi Man Publicly Humiliated for Refusal
The viral video was uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) by an account named “Ranvijay Singh.” In the video, a group of 5 to 6 people can be seen laughing as one of them uses an electric trimmer to shave the man’s head. Despite his attempts to resist, the group continues to humiliate him. The video has sparked intense reactions on social media, with many users expressing their disgust and shame over such inhumane treatment.
One comment reads, “We are ashamed that we are a part of this society. This is happening to a man in our community.” Another user lamented, “Humanity is sinking into an abyss with such behavior; hearts are turning to stone.”
Jhansi Police Take Action After Video Goes Viral
Responding to the uproar, Jhansi Police issued a statement on social media, providing details about the case. They mentioned that Mr. Baba, the victim, had lodged a complaint at the Sipri Bazar police station. According to his statement, he was assaulted without any reason by a group of individuals from his own community on October 22, 2024, around 2:20 PM. They not only verbally abused him but also issued death threats.
Following this complaint, the local police registered an FIR against four individuals involved in the incident. The viral video, which captured the act of cutting the victim’s hair, will be included as evidence in the investigation. They assured the public of an impartial probe based on the facts of the case.
