Accident Details
While conversing with her mother, the child was struck by the car as the driver attempted to park. The video captures the mother’s immediate shock and despair as she picks up her severely injured daughter, breaking down in tears.
Community Response and Police Action
Local residents quickly gathered at the scene and rushed the injured girl to the hospital for urgent medical attention. According to ADCP Hridesh Katheria, the police are actively working to apprehend the driver responsible for the incident. “A car driver ran over a one-and-a-half-year-old kid. The team is working to arrest the accused, and he will be apprehended soon. The girl is receiving better treatment for that the hospital is being contacted continuously,” Katheria told IANS news agency.
