Viral Video: The heat outside is a torture for everyone. But what options can we resort to? Well, a baba from Uttar Pradesh has found a solution/jugaad to beat the heat. The video of his solution, too, is going viral over the Internet.
Lalluram, a 77-year-old native of the UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri area, shielded himself from the heat by donning a turban with a portable fan attached. A tiny solar panel that is attached to the helmet’s top appears to be what powers the fan. Lalluram has appeared in numerous viral photos sporting this solar-powered helmet.

The man in the video can be seen donning a helmet that is equipped with a fan and a solar plate. The fan has been positioned such that the air it blows is directly towards his face. The old man wearing the helmet is questioned by the person filming the scene about how long it lasts. To which the old man reacts by stating that it keeps him calm until six in the morning after explaining the same. He further says that solar energy is used to power the fan.
Got the idea after suffering from illness
According to sources, Lalluram, a flower vendor, got this idea after he became ill. As he is a flower vendor, he stays mostly out of any four wall space. Subsequently, long outdoor shifts meant getting sick from the heat. He was unable to feed his family since he was unable to sell the flowers.

The family suffered as a result since they were struggling to make ends meet. When Lalluram recovered, he understood the necessity of a portable fan because he could no longer tolerate the heat. He developed the concept for a solar-powered helmet in this way.
After falling ill, the man had no money and was unable to purchase any items and had borrowed items for his helmet from a number of other persons.
