Viral Video: In today’s dark times, faith in humanity is a difficult thing, with everything going on in the world, one might think that humanity is slowly becoming extinct. However, a video going viral proves this wrong, where people saved an elephant by giving her CPR.
It is often said that a mother can never see her child in pain. If something happens to her child, she is deeply shocked. Something similar was seen in the video going viral where a baby elephant fell into the pit. After seeing this, the mother got such shock that she fainted. After this, the elephant and her child are helped by running a rescue operation there.
During a storm in the Nakhon Nayak Province of Thailand, an elephant and her calf fell into a deep pit. The one-year-old baby was the first to come to grief. The video showed its agitated mother standing guard, with vain attempts to get out of the hole.
National Park officials rushed to the scene and pulled off a remarkable double rescue ofboth the mother and the baby.
As rescuers brought up a mechanical digger to try to remove it, the calf took the chance to suckle on its mother’s milk.
Once lifted aside, some people worked to revive the adult pachyderm by jumping on its body, and attempting CPR, while an operator used the digger to partially flatten out one end of the pit, so creating an escape path for the youngster.
In a moment fraught with danger, the frantic efforts finally paid off as the mother suddenly regained consciousness, staggering to its feet and sending the rescuers on top of it scrambling for safety, to repeated shouts of “Run! Run!”
