A local Trinamool Congress (TMC) strongman, Tajmul Haque alias ‘JCB’, was caught on video flogging a woman and a man in public. Onlookers not only witnessed the assault but some even joined in, taking the law into their own hands. The video of this incident also went viral, leading to Tajmul Haque’s arrest amid massive public outrage.
