Family members and friends stood on different floors of the house, flinging ₹100, ₹200, and ₹500 currency notes into the air. The scene appeared as though money was literally raining from the sky.
This spectacle reportedly occurred in the Siddharth Nagar area of Bareilly. Media reports suggest that the wedding was of residents from Devalhawa village. The act of tossing lakhs of rupees into the air, treating the currency like mere pieces of paper, has drawn significant attention and criticism.
