Viral Video: IPS Trainee Allegedly Attacks Man, Breaks Glass on His Head; Incident Caught on Cam

Viral Video: A shocking viral video shared by social media user Vikas Dhayal has sparked intense discussions online. The video reportedly shows an assault by a first-year IPS trainee, Rahul Balhara, who is accused of inflicting a severe head injury on Dhayal with a glass at a wedding function. Dhayal took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his outrage, accusing Balhara of a completely unprovoked attack. His tweets have garnered widespread attention, particularly with the video going viral across social media platforms.

Accusation Against IPS Trainee Goes Viral

In a series of tweets, Vikas Dhayal pointed out the alleged behavior of IPS trainee Rahul Balhara, who he claims attacked him at a wedding function. According to Dhayal, the attack was without provocation. He posted a tweet that read: "This is what 1 year of IPS training teaches you; get drunk by power, have no fear of consequences, assault people at will, and game the system to get away. IPS trainee (2023) Rahul Balhara inflicted a severe head injury on my head with hard glass without any incitement." Along with this statement, Dhayal also shared a photo of the IPS trainee, Rahul Balhara, and a viral video showing the alleged incident.

Police Inaction Raises Concerns

Dhayal didn’t stop there. In his subsequent tweet, he accused the police of not taking action against the alleged assault. He claimed, "The police didn’t take any action on my complaint on a life-threatening attack by IPS trainee Rahul Balhara, visible on CCTV clearly. But, now after the Twitter post, the 'upright' Delhi Police lodged a complaint against me, when I didn’t lay a finger on anyone. God Bless Delhi police." This tweet added more fuel to the fire, highlighting the delay in action and the subsequent police response to Dhayal’s original complaint.

Wedding Function Footage Captures the Incident

Thankfully for Dhayal, the wedding where the alleged assault took place had a cameraman, who recorded everything. As Dhayal emphasised in his tweet, "Thankfully the wedding function had a cameraman who recorded everything in great quality, and there were 100 others who witnessed everything. I have no fear as my conscience is clear and my hands are clean." The viral video and eyewitness accounts seem to provide crucial evidence supporting his claims, which has led to widespread public scrutiny.

Call for Justice and Accountability

Dhayal urged his followers to share the video and raise awareness about the incident. He said, "Please spread it so that this criminal in police uniform, Rahul Balhara (IPS Trainee 2023 batch) doesn’t go unpunished. What he did to me should happen to any innocent in future." With these words, he emphasized the need for justice and accountability, making it clear that he hopes the incident will lead to significant consequences for Balhara, and prevent similar future actions by those in positions of power.
