Viral Video: The Kanwar Yatra, in which followers of Lord Shiva from all across the nation journey to various Shiva temples for Jalabhishek, began on July 22, the first day of the holy month of Sawan. However, videos of violent incidents that occurred during the Kanwar Yatra have gone viral on social media in the midst of all of this.

Kanwariyas Attack in Meerut Goes Viral

In the most recent occurrence, furious Kanwariyas in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, attacked a car driver, claiming that he had interfered with their Kanwar Yatra. They destroyed the driver’s car in the middle of the road in addition to abusing him. Numerous comments have been sparked by this occurrence, which has been widely shared on social media.

Accusations of Disruption

A video clip from Meerut is rapidly gaining attention online. According to the viral video, the furious Kanwariyas targeted a Muslim car driver, accusing him of disrupting their pilgrimage.

The video, shared by a user named Sachin Gupta on X (formerly Twitter), shows how the Kanwariyas caught hold of the young driver after his car allegedly hit them. The driver was severely beaten, and his clothes were torn. Two other passengers managed to escape. The Kanwariyas claimed that the car’s impact had interrupted their sacred journey.

Vandalism on the Highway

The incident occurred on the National Highway in Meerut, where a group of Kanwariyas was on their pilgrimage. The situation escalated into violence after the collision with the car. The car had four Muslim passengers; three managed to flee, but one was caught and beaten by the Kanwariyas.

Additionally, the Kanwariyas vandalized the car in the middle of the road, using sticks to smash it. The viral video shows the car being destroyed on the highway.
