India has won the title of the Women’s Under-19 World Cup played for the first time. In this title match, India had a match against England, in which Team India won unilaterally. After winning the match, the players were celebrating a lot on the ground, then Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, who had come to watch the match, also reached the ground and congratulated the Indian team for their victory. Neeraj entered the field while clapping and bowed before the players after reaching them. After this, he shook hands with all the players of the Indian team and congratulated them for the victory.
Neeraj Chopra had reached before the start of the match to watch this match and before the match, he went to the dressing room of the Indian team and also gave the mantra of victory to the team. BCCI had also shared this video before the match on its Twitter handle. In the last moments of this video, team captain Shefali Verma is also seen giving him the trophy.
India won the World Cup title by defeating England by seven wickets in the final match. The England team was bundled out for just 68 runs, the Indian team achieved the target in 14 overs.
Apart from Neeraj, the senior team of India also congratulated the Under-19 Women’s Team India for their victory from Lucknow. Team coach Rahul Dravid and Under-19 World Cup winning 2018 men’s team captain Prithvi Shaw also congratulated the team.
Apart from this, the whole team India appreciated the excellent performance of the team by clapping along with captain Hardik Pandya. Rahul Dravid said that this victory is a sign of the strength of Indian women’s cricket.
