Viral Video: Two videos went viral on social media during Holi celebrations on March 25, 2024, that crossed the line of decency. These videos prompted the Noida Police to take swift action, imposing a hefty fine on the individuals involved.
Obscene Reels Land Youths in Trouble
The first video featured a couple creating a reel on the song “Rang Laga De Re Mohe Ang Laga De Re” inside a car. Their expressions were deemed vulgar by viewers, leading to the police taking notice.
In the second video, four people were seen riding a bike. The young man sitting at the back was not wearing clothes and engaged in obscene acts with the girl in the middle. This video was filmed by someone in a car and tagged to the Noida Police.
Noida Police Takes Action
Taking swift action, the Noida Police identified and apprehended the individuals involved in both videos. They were fined Rs. 33,000 and Rs. 24,500 respectively for creating and uploading the objectionable content.
The Noida Police uploaded a photograph of the arrested individuals on their social media platform X. The caption stated, “Taking suo motu cognizance of the viral video on social media, Sector 113 Noida Police arrested two accused, a scooter rider who indulged in obscene acts and an accused who was driving the scooter carelessly.”
Netizens Applaud Police Action
The actions taken by the Noida Police were met with widespread appreciation from netizens. Comments like “Jai Ho Noida Police,” “Great work,” “Kudos to our forces,” and “Thanks a ton!” flooded social media platforms.
