Viral Video: Recently, a Pakistani YouTuber name Hasan Iqbal Chishti released a provocative song titled ‘Apni Dhi Schoolo Hata Le Othy Dance Kardi Payi Ae’ (Remove your daughter from school she was spotted dancing there). This song has ignited a firestorm of reactions online due to its controversial content condemning girls education.

Controversial Pakistani Song Criticises Girls Education

Chishti’s lyrics urge parents to remove their daughters from school, claiming that sending them to study would lead to disrespect and moral decline. The song includes lines like “Ghar parde vich bitaale, nahi te ye te gaal jehen chipaale othey dance kardi payi ae. Endi izzat gavaani chahne, je kanjiri banane chahne phir dhi school pada le,” which translate to, “Keep her at home, covered, if not she will be spotted dancing. If you wish to lose respect, or make her a prostitute then send her to study at school.”

Public Reactions

The song received mixed reactions. Shockingly, many Pakistani fans supported Chishti’s ideology, with comments praising his bold stance. Comments like “Hasan Iqbal Chishti Amar Rahe” filled the video’s comment section, showing a disturbing level of agreement.

Criticism and Condemnation

On the flip side, the song also faced significant backlash. One user said, “Brother is jealous of the girls going to school because he never got a chance Khunnas hai.” Another wrote, “I’m an Indian but i felt really really bad that Pakistan is still suffering with this type mentality …shame on on you and you thinking …and people who are supporting him in comments think about country and your daughters.” A third user said, “How dare he used such low level language against our sisters ….he must be sacked… Moreover he is using haq haq as background music and uttering obscene words… He must be punished.” A fourth user commented, “This is why Education is so important.” Another user commented, “75% people in Pakistan are full of this extremist mentality that is why we are not progressing like other countries in the world. Mother is first school of every child and she should be educated to raise a good citizen.”
