Viral Video: Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, known for his bold statements, is once again making headlines. In a recent viral video, he shared his belief that non-Hindus should be banned from entering the Maha Kumbh. His remarks have ignited a debate on Sanatan values, drawing mixed reactions on social media.
Dhirendra Shastri’s Stance on Non-Hindu Entry to Maha Kumbh
In the viral video, Dhirendra Shastri passionately stated his views on restricting Maha Kumbh entry to Hindus only. While speaking with journalists, he said, “Those who do not understand Sanatan traditions or respect saints have no place here.” According to Shastri, some individuals openly oppose Sanatan values. He cited incidents of Hindu processions being attacked and idols disrespected as evidence of this opposition.
The video was uploaded by X user Sachin Gupta, who captioned it: “Entry of non-Hindus should be banned in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. If you have nothing to do with Katha, Hindutva, Sanatan, Ram, then what business do you have there?”
Shastri also referenced incidents, like the recent “spit incident,” as further reasons why non-Sanatan followers should be kept out of the Maha Kumbh. He argued that such actions display disrespect toward Hinduism and justify banning those who oppose Sanatan values.
