In the video, the mother is seen explaining how she earns her living by selling flowers outside a temple. Despite her limited means, she eventually gave in to her son’s demand after he refused to eat for three days. The woman, visibly distressed, said, “I sell flowers outside a temple and I gave him the money to buy the phone because he did not eat anything for three days.” Her son, standing beside her with a satisfied smile and holding a thick wad of cash, appears content now that his hunger strike has ended.
