UP Electricity Official’s Shocking Remarks Caught on Viral Video
The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user Sachin Gupta, shows a junior electricity employee informing the Superintending Engineer about unoccupied homes with locked doors, suggesting the owners have moved to Haryana. In response, Jaiswal, seemingly unconcerned, tells his subordinate to “Set the house on fire.”
Dheeraj Jaiswal, the officer in question, works with the Power Corporation in Saharanpur, UP. His controversial remark has ignited a wave of anger among netizens, who have criticised the apparent insensitivity and unprofessional conduct of the senior officer.
Netizens Furious Over UP Electricity Official’s Comments
Following the viral video, several social media users voiced their displeasure over the shocking comments made by the UP Electricity official. One user expressed: “Adhikariyon ko aise soch se bahar nikalna chahiye.” Another remarked, “Waise bhi bijli vibhag mein jab aapka bill gadbad hai, to sahi karne mein bahut hi mehnat karni padti hai.” Further comments included, “Yeh bahut hi sharmnaak ghatna hai” and “Yeh to mansik rogi lag raha hai,” with users condemning the offensive language and lack of empathy.
