Viral Video: Three Delhi traffic police officers were suspended in a startling event that has received a lot of attention on social media after it was discovered on camera that they were allegedly sharing bribe money among themselves. The officers at a checkpoint in Gazipur, Thrill Lauri Circle, are seen in the viral video engaging in inappropriate behaviour, which has sparked severe worries about corruption among the police force.
CCTV Footage Reveals the Bribe Transaction
One of the traffic cops and a man within the police checkpoint had a brief talk at the start of the video. When the officer motions for the man to put a bundle of cash on a table, what starts off as a normal exchange swiftly turns shady. The officer carefully takes the money and confirms that the bribe transaction has begun while pretending looking outside.

The officer can be seen counting the money as soon as the man leaves the checkpoint and then sitting down with his coworkers. The other two cops are seen grinning as they get their part of the bribe money as the three officers divide it among themselves in the video. The obvious corruption, which was all seen on camera, has infuriated the public.
Immediate Action Taken by Authorities
As soon as the video went viral, the three traffic cops were immediately suspended. To find out every aspect of the officers’ misbehaviour, a thorough departmental inquiry is presently ongoing, following the start of a preliminary investigation. The people has been reassured by the Delhi Police that those found guilty of such corrupt acts will face severe consequences.
