The viral video portrays the aspirant’s parents’ emotional pain and has swiftly garnered popularity on social media. Her father is clearly upset, regretting the missed chance, while her mother is seen unconscious and exhausted by the circumstances. The candidate, is seen consoling her parents. She tells her father to calm down and says, “Papa, we will take the exam next year. It’s not a big deal.”

Viral Video Stirs Sympathy and Debate

The video was shared by Sakshi, an X user, and has received over 1.4 million views. The caption provided information on the unfavourable incident and clarified the rigorous entry requirements for the exam, which was set to begin at 9:30 am. The aspirant arrived at the gate at 9 am, but the principle of S.D. Adarsh Vidyalaya, Sector 47, Gurugram, refused to let him in.

UPSC Prelims: Strict Timings and Guidelines

Strict entry requirements are followed for the UPSC Prelims 2024, which were held on Sunday in two shifts. GS Paper 1 sessions started in the morning at 9:30 am, and GS Paper 2 (CSAT) sessions started in the afternoon at 2:30 pm.
