Using the social media platform X, Portland Fire and Rescue announced that firefighters and Oaks Park engineers had physically lowered the AtmosFEAR rollercoaster. If needed, the team was prepared to do a high-angle ropes rescue. Fortunately, every rider was removed and they are presently receiving medical attention. There have been no reports of injuries following this terrifying event.
