Viral Video: The city of Bengaluru seems to be boiling over with tension. Recently, a video went viral showing a shop owner being thrashed for playing Hanuman Chalisa inside his shop. Now, another disturbing incident has come to light, raising questions about the safety and civility in this once-peaceful city.
A young couple who recently moved to Bengaluru from Belagavi in north Karnataka were brutally attacked by a group of people over a parking issue. The disturbing incident, caught on camera, has sparked outrage and prompted police action.

Viral Video Shows Shocking Assault
The two video clips capture the attack that unfolded at night on a street in a residential area believed to be in east Bengaluru’s Doddanekundi.
According to journalist Anagha Deshpande, who shared the video online, the fight erupted after the couple parked their car in an area designated for parking. The footage shows the car parked in front of a house.
The shocking video shows two men and a woman emerge from a house and confront the couple. The young woman attempts to record the situation on her phone as two elderly men aggressively approach them. One of the older men slaps the young man repeatedly, causing him to fall to the ground. The young woman, visibly shaken, tries to intervene but is pushed away by another woman from the house.
Bystanders Ignore Pleas for Help
Despite calls from bystanders to stop the attack, the violence continues. The young man is repeatedly punched and kicked, even as he tries to defend himself. The young woman’s screams of horror can be heard throughout the disturbing video.
Police Take Action
The disturbing video triggered outrage online, with many users demanding action against the attackers. A Journalist appealed for urgent police intervention, revealing that another woman from the house attempted to assault the young woman and demanded they leave Bengaluru.
Responding to the video, Bengaluru Police confirmed that the complaint had been forwarded to the HAL Police Station. Police officials have since registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
