Zakir Naik Viral Video: Outrageous Claims on Rape and Murder Spark Fury, as He Blames Victims' Attire for Their Fate

Zakir Naik Viral Video: Zakir Naik, a controversial figure known for his polarizing views, is once again at the center of heated debate. In a recent viral video, Naik addressed a disturbing hypothetical question about rape and murder. The inquiry came from a user named Shafin Rashad from Kerala, India. He asked whether a person who commits such heinous acts but escapes justice in this world can still be forgiven by Allah if they truly repent.

‘If You Commit Rape and Murder, Allah May Forgive You,’ Says Zakir Naik

In a video shared on the YouTube account named ‘EnlightenmentEcho,’ which has gone viral, fugitive Zakir Naik is seen saying, “Hypothetically, if he rapes or murders a girl and if the court of law in this country or in this world cannot prove him wrong and he goes scot-free later on, he realizes his mistake. It truly depends, and he knows that Allah is merciful. If you truly repent, Allah will forgive.”

Naik continues, “Now, regarding the question of whether this is not injustice to the girl who has been raped and killed, I would say no. Both the person who raped and the girl are undergoing tests in this world.”

Fugutive Zakir Naik Statemen on Forgiveness on Rape and Murder

He elaborated on the conditions for forgiveness: “If you have committed rape and murder, and if you truly repent, there are five criteria required for forgiveness: Number one is you admit what you have done is wrong. Number two, see to it that you stop it immediately. Number three, ensure you don’t do it again. Number four is that you ask forgiveness from Allah. If all these criteria are fulfilled, inshallah, Allah will forgive you, even if you have committed rape, which is a major sin.”

No Injustice to the Victim, It’s a Test

Regarding justice for the victims, Naik asserted, “The question is, is this not injustice to the girl who was raped and murdered? The answer is no because both the person who committed the rape and the girl are undergoing a test in this world.”

Zakir Naik’s Controversial Remarks on Women’s Attire in Rape Cases

In a deeply troubling comment, Naik suggested that a woman’s attire can contribute to the crime, stating, “If that girl does not dress modestly and is dressed immorally, then she is responsible for attracting the attention of men. Allah has given guidelines to women that they should dress up modestly, covering their bodies except for the face.”

He concluded, “If she dresses inappropriately, she has broken the Sharia rules. It is a test for her. If she wears normal clothes and yet if the person rapes her, then it is a test for the girl, to see if she still believes in Allah.”
