Watch: A ‘two-headed’ snake was found on Wednesday near a court in Bihar’s Begusarai district. The reptile was brought to the Bihar court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Begusarai, Satish Chandra Jha in a container. The Judge called the Forest department officials to catch the reptile as per the judge’s direction. The Forest department officials took away the serpent after being instructed by the judge to ensure the safety of people and snake also.

The judge stated that he had got the information about the snake. He knows, Snake having been caught by some villagers in Barauni block from a para-legal volunteer. The judge said, “People told me that the snake can raise its tail like a hood and that’s why it described as two-headed snake. I knew it before that it’s a very rare breed. I asked Mukesh Paswan to bring the snake to the court.”
The Forest Department official said that the snake is not of a vicious temperament and there is less danger as the snake known to prey on only insects and rats not humans. They added that the breed was heavily famous because of high demand in the countries like China. It costs around Rs. 25 crore because many different buy this snake.
