75th anniversary of United Nations – know some facts

After World War II, the idea of ​​establishing an organization to save the world from the brunt of the Third World War and to establish global peace was put forward. The efforts made in this direction enabled the idea of ​​establishing a United Nations.

The name ‘United Nations’ was first used by former US President Franklin D. Roosevelt on 1 January 1942. This was the second world war, during which a manifesto was prepared for the United Nations by including representatives from 26 countries.
