A top Revolutionary Guard Commander has revealed that Iran has developed a long raise cruise missile , which has a strike range of 1,650 km (1,025 miles). This move has caused heckles in the Western circles, after news have poured in that Russia has intermittently used Iranian Drones in the Ukraine War.

In the meantime, the Head of Revolutionary Guards aerospace force Amirali Hajizadeh also reiterated Iran’s oft repeated threat to avenge the US killing of a top Iranian Commander and remarked on a State TV,
“We are looking to kill (former U.S. President Donald) Trump.”
“Our cruise missile with a range of 1,650 km has been added to the missile arsenal of the Islamic Republic of Iran,”

Hazizedah also admitted that Iran had launched a ballistic missile attack on US forces in Iraq , days after Iranian military commander Qassem Soliemani was killed in a US drone strike in 2020 in Baghdad. The missile attack was not meant to kill common troops, but to send a message to the US.
“God willing, we are looking to kill Trump. (Former Secretary of State Mike) Pompeo … and military commanders who issued the order (to kill Soleimani) should be killed,”
Iranian leaders have often vowed to avenge the killing of Soleimani in strong terms.
Iran Expands its Missile Program
Iran has always said that its Ballistic Missile was defensive in nature. However, as Iran has expanded its Missile program there has been an expression of concern among European countries. Further it has also admitted that it had supplied Russia with Drones before the war in Ukraine. Russia has used the drones to target power stations and civilian infrastructure.
