Although a date for Charles’ coronation has not yet been chosen, he will be acknowledged as King Charles III and will be the oldest person to hold the British throne.
As of right now, Charles is the monarch of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In addition, he serves as Supreme Governor of the Church of England, Defender of the Faith, and King of other Commonwealth nations. Instead of His Royal Highness, Charles will henceforth be addressed as His Majesty, and Camilla, who is currently Queen Consort, will be addressed as Her Majesty
The title changes that Charles’ accession to the throne will bring about are likely to alter the balance of power within the British royal family even more.
The successor to the throne is currently 40-year-old Prince William, the eldest child of Charles and the late Princess Diana. Due to his father’s succession, the Duke of Cambridge will now also hold the title of Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge. William does not yet have the title of Prince of Wales, which is given to the male successor to the throne. It is not passed down automatically, thus his father will have to confer the title.

The Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge will now be used to refer to Catherine Middleton, who is married to Prince Williams and is also the Duchess of Cambridge. Prince George, Prince Charlotte, and Prince Louis will now be referred to as the Prince and Princess of Cornwall and Cambridge.
William and Kate’s children will now be recognised as the Prince and Princess of Wales, a title that belonged to Diana when she was married to Charles. The title of Prince of Wales or Princess of Wales will automatically pass to William’s offspring when he becomes the Prince of Wales.
Prince Harry, the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, is the Duke of Sussex (age 37). He will retain his title as well as that of his American bride, Meghan Markle, who is the Duchess of Sussex. Following a disagreement with the royal family, the couple renounced their titles.

According to the regulations established by King George V in 1917, Archie Mountbatten Windsor, the son of Harry and Meghan, is now officially a prince. The Buckingham Palace, however, has previously stated that his parents prefer that he be referred to simply as Master Archie. According to constraints imposed by George V, Archie was reportedly too low in the social hierarchy at the time of his birth to be given the title of prince. However, as the sovereign’s grandson, he was eligible to receive the title of prince and the title of His Royal Highness.
Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, the child of Harry and Meghan, is now formally a princess and will be addressed as HRH Princess Lili of Sussex if she chooses to adopt the title.
Prince Andrew, the second-eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, had his honorary military roles removed.
The queen further disqualified him from using the title “his royal highness” in official contexts and withdrew him from his honorary chairmanship of several charities known as royal patronages.
