Seventh round of talk between India and China, lasted over 11 hours

As tension between India and China on the Ladakh border is not yet over. On October 12, a commander-level meeting was held for the seventh time with China. According to sources, in this meeting India insisted on the full withdrawal of PLA troops.

According to the report, the agenda of this meeting was the de-escalation of the Army’s face-off sites, as well as the entire border area in eastern Ladakh.

The meeting lasted for more than 11 hours and started at 12 noon and ended around 11:30 PM on Monday.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, Army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane and Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria have been involved in this meeting.
