Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings in 2019 was a low-scoring final match. Mumbai in the first inning scored 149 runs and defended it in the end by 1 run to win the trophy.

Mumbai Indians set the target of 149 in 2013 as well against Chennai Super Kings and defended it. MI won the 2013 trophy by 23 runs.

Deccan Chargers beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009 by 6 runs in a low-scoring match. DCH scored 143 runs in the first innings and defended it.
