1996 World Cup Quaterfinals

India set the target of 288 in this match and bowled out Pakistan at 248 which caused problems for Pakistani players back home because they were the reigning champions and lost to the rival country, India in the Quarter Finals. Fans were extremely upset because of their team's performance and caused a ruckus in Pakistan.

Inzmam Attacking Fan

Former captain of Pakistan, Inzmam ul Haq once tried to attack an Indian fan. It was said that the fan was calling him 'aalo' which is why he did so. There was a court case but because of the intervention of the Indian captain, Mohammed Azharuddin, he came off well.

Shiv Sen and Kotla dig up

Once in a Test series between India and Pakistan in 1999. Political Party Shiv Sena dug up the pitch to prevent the match from taking place in Delhi. But later, Anil Kumble took all the 10- wickets in an innings and India won the match.

Tendulkar Akhtar Clash

In this controversy, Pakistani Pacer Shoaib Akhtar was bowling really well, during one delivery, Tendulkar was running to get the third run but he collided with Shoaib and the ball hit the wicket resulting in Sachin Tendulkar's run out at 9 which became a huge issue back then.

Gautam and Afridi

In a match between India and Pakistan in 2007 Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi had an on-field clash. Gambhir was running in between the wickets to take a run but collided with Afridi which later turned into a heated argument between the players and went on for a long time on and off the field.
