This Expressway was inaugurated on 27th May 2018 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Baghpat. GOI approved funding for the project in August 2015.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway aka Kundli–Ghaziabad–Palwal Expressway is 135KM long and 6 Lane Wide. It passes through the states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
