Nikhat Zareen's Tough Draw

India's star boxer Nikhat Zareen has been put into a tough draw for the Olympic rounds. She'll be facing challenging opponents.

R-32 with Maxi Kloetzer

Nikhat Zareen will face Germany's Maxi Carina Kloetzer in the Round of 32. This will be a comparatively easy match for the Indian boxer.

R-16 with Wu Yu

If Nikhat Qualifies for the Round of 16, she will face top-seeded Chinese Boxer Wu Yu, an Asian Games Gold Medalist. Indian Boxer can have difficulty facing her.

Both World Champions

Both Nikhat Zareen and Wu Yu are World Champions. Nikhat is a two-time world champion in the 50 kg category and Wu Yu is World Champion in the 52 Kg category. This draw can be tough for Nikhat.

Quaterfinals Face Off

If Nikhat beats Wu Yu then her Quarterfinal draw is also going to be a tough one. She'll either face Thailand's Chuthamat Raksat or Uzbekistan's Sabina Bobokulova.

Lost to Both

Nikhat Zareen has lost to both of them. Raksat beat Nikhat in the Asian Games Semi-Final. Nikhat also lost to Bobokulova in the Strandja Memorial final, she also beat Wu Yu there. Paris Olympics 2024 will be a chance for Indian boxer to take revenge.
