China will never give up on its trickery. The latest case of Dragon’s trickery is that India is going to test missiles in the coming days. Earlier, China has sent a spy ship in the Indian Ocean. A few months before this, China had docked a similar spy ship at Sri Lanka’s Hambantota port. According to media reports, the spy ships being deployed at sea by the Chinese Navy belong to the same category. The ship is capable of tracking Yuan Wang VI ballistic missiles and satellites.
According to MarineTraffic, the Chinese spy ship Yuan Wang VI has entered the Indian Ocean and is currently present off the coast of Bali. MarineTraffic is an online platform that tracks the movement of ships. The arrival of the Chinese spy ship Yuan Wang VI comes at a time when India is about to conduct a missile test a few days later, the date of which has been announced. The Yuan Wang VI is capable of tracking ballistic missiles and satellites.
India can test between 10-11 November
According to open-source intelligence expert Damien Simon, India has issued a notification for a no-fly zone over the Bay of Bengal indicating an upcoming missile test. India can conduct a missile test from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha between November 10-11. This missile can fly up to 2200 km. In view of this, the area between Sri Lanka in the west and Indonesia in the east has been blocked, on which the missile is expected to operate.
In such a situation, the cause of concern for India is that China is now trying to track the missile, which it can test. China is gaining vital information about the missile’s capabilities, such as its speed, range and accuracy. India frequently tests ballistic missiles from Wheeler Island, a designated missile test range.
China had docked a spy ship in the Sri Lankan port of Hambantota in the month of August this year. The name of this spy ship was Yuan Wang Wei V. India’s concern is centered not only on the deployment of Yuan Wang-class ships but also on the Hambantota port, which Sri Lanka has leased to China for 99 years. India had objected to the deployment of the Chinese spy ship. India had asked Sri Lanka not to allow the Chinese ship to dock in Hambantota.
