Apple CEO Tim Cook, who is visiting India, has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tim Cook has thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome he received during his visit to India. Tim Cook told the Prime Minister that Apple is committed to investing in expansion across India.
Tim Cook tweeted about the meeting with the Prime Minister, saying, “We share your vision of the positive impact of technology on India’s future, from education and developers to manufacturing and the environment.”
He said that we are committed to move forward and invest across the country.
Prime Minister Modi also tweeted about the meeting with Tim Cook that it was great to meet you Tim Cook. It was a pleasure to exchange views on different topics and share information on tech-driven changes taking place in India.
Actually Tim Cook is on a tour of India from Monday. In the first leg of his tour, he reached Mumbai where he inaugurated Apple’s first flagship store there. In Mumbai, he met people from industry to Bollywood and sports. Tim Cook has reached Delhi on Wednesday. On Thursday, he will inaugurate Apple’s second flagship store at Saket City Wall Mall.
