According to a statement from Israel’s foreign ministry, at least 8 people were killed in a deadly terror attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem on Friday.
The gun attack near a synagogue on Neve Yaakov Street around 8:15 p.m. (local time) left 10 people injured, according to the official statement. Immediately following the attack, the paramedics arrived at the scene of the incident.
According to authorities, the alleged shooter was also later dead by officers.
According to CNN, the raid that occurred in the West Bank city brought the total number of Palestinians murdered by Israeli forces this year to 29.
The Israel Defence Force (IDF) said that they targeted Bottom of Form, an underground facility where rockets are manufactured in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Footage published on social media showed several large explosions from the airstrikes in Gaza.
