Bangkok: 3 Dead as Gunfire Erupts at Siam Paragon Mall, 14-Year-Old Suspect Detained, Video

Bangkok: The police said on Tuesday that three people were injured and at least three people were murdered in a shooting at an upscale mall in Bangkok, Thailand. A 14-year-old suspected shooter was detained and questioned in relation to the incident. The Metropolitan Police Detective Department announced the arrest at the Siam Paragon mall on Facebook.

Rapid Response by Rescue Services Amid Chaotic Scenes at Bangkok Mall Shooting

In order to transport the injured patients to the hospital, rescue services arrived quickly. Unverified social media footage displayed chaotic scenes with people fleeing the mall’s entrance, including young children, as security personnel assisted them.

Blurry Image Shared by Central Investigation Bureau Amid Bangkok Mall Shooting Investigation

The Central Investigation Bureau had earlier shared a blurry picture of a person wearing khaki cargo trousers and a baseball cap on its Facebook page. Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin Tweeted, “I am aware of the shooting event at Siam Paragon and have ordered the police to investigate. I am most worried about public safety.”
