China Protests: The arrest and assault of a BBC journalist during a protest in Shanghai, known as China’s business centre, has now brought the two nations face to face. On this matter, they are both regarded as being persuasive. While the journalist in this case did not disclose his identity, according to China’s Foreign Ministry, Britain has stated that it will not accept any justifications in this case. China responds
After the British network claimed that one of their employees had been detained and physically assaulted by police, China’s foreign ministry claimed on Monday that a BBC reporter who had been detained at a protest in Shanghai over the weekend had not identified himself as a journalist.
