The recovery of MH370’s debris more than eight years after it vanished implies that the landing gear was down when the aircraft impacted the water. A landing gear door from the crashed Boeing 777 was discovered 25 days ago at the home of a fisherman in Madagascar, according to a story in Independent. This, according to experts, is the first concrete proof that the MH370 pilots meant to bring down the plane. 239 passengers lost their life in the 2014 collision.
According to American MH370 wreckage hunter Blaine Gibson and British engineer Richard Godfrey, the plane was intentionally crashed.

The crash of MH370 was anything but a soft landing on the ocean
The Independent reported that Mr. Godfrey said, “The level of damage with fractures on all sides and the extreme force of the penetration right through the debris item lead to the conclusion that the end of the flight was in a high-speed dive designed to ensure the aircraft broke up into as many pieces as possible. The crash of MH370 was anything but a soft landing on the ocean.”
After the wreckage washed up on the shore of Madagascar in the wake of tropical storm Fernando in 2017, it was discovered by the fisherman Tataly.

Wife of the fisherman was using the door as a drying rack
For five years, he stored the landing gear door at his house without realising its significance. The wife of the fisherman was using the door as a drying rack.
According to an Independent story, Mr. Godfrey and Mr. Gibson’s theory is based on the four nearly parallel gashes on the door, which they claim were created by one of the plane’s two engines exploding on impact.
“The combination of the high-speed impact designed to break up the aircraft and the extended landing gear designed to sink the aircraft as fast as possible both show a clear intent to hide the evidence of the crash,” according to a report written by the specialists.
When making an emergency landing on water, pilots typically don’t lower the landing gear because doing so increases the likelihood that the plane would fragment. According to the experts, it may also enhance the likelihood that the jet will crash rapidly, leaving very little time for survivors to escape.
