China, Fauci and the Origins of Covid – Did the virus come from a Chinese lab funded by the celebrated doctor’s U.S. government institute? Before Covid-19 ravaged the world, Dr Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases funded Coronavirus research that included work at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. The idea was to study the ability of such viruses to attack humans, but could a Fauci-funded experiment be the source of the deadly global infection? Atomic Scientist Nicholas Wade has widely argued that the Chinese Wuhan lab that was funded by Fauci’s NIAID is the most likely source of worldwide suffering.

Elon Musk recently remarked that the outgoing White House Chief Medical Adviser, Dr Anthony Fauci, should be criminally prosecuted for funding the research in the Chinese Wuhan Lab that “killed millions of people” in the Covid-19 pandemic. Although his comment was met with strong criticism from the scientific community and government leaders, there is an undercurrent of anguish against Dr Fauci across the world after the critical leak of a report that Chinese researcher Shi Zheng-li in Wuhan Lab received financial support from Dr. Fauci’s institute via a U.S. group called EcoHealth Alliance.

However, it cannot be claimed that Shi did or did not generate SARS2 in her lab because her records have been sealed, but it seems likely that she was certainly on the course of producing such vicious viruses. It is also apparent that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was systematically constructing novel chimeric Coronaviruses and was assessing their ability to infect human cells and human-ACE2-expressing mice.
The initial idea was to gauge the impact of the deadly virus within the four walls of the Lab, but nobody and not even Fauci would have anticipated that the virus could jump out of ‘The Wuhan Institute of Virology China and inflict the entire world with such devastating effect. It’s documented that researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were doing gain-of-function experiments designed to make Coronaviruses infect human cells and humanized mice. This is exactly the kind of experiment from which a SARS2-like virus could have emerged. The researchers were not vaccinated against the viruses under study, and they were working in the minimal safety conditions of a BSL2 laboratory. So escape from a virus would not be at all surprising. In all of China, the pandemic broke out on the doorstep of the Wuhan institute. The virus was already well adapted to humans, as expected for a virus grown in humanized mice. It possessed an unusual enhancement, a furin cleavage site, which is not possessed by any other known SARS-related beta-coronavirus, and this site included a double arginine codon also unknown among beta-Coronaviruses. What more evidence could you want, aside from the presently unobtainable lab records documenting SARS2’s creation?
Fauci may not absolve himself from critical allegations after a leak of his indirect financial assistance
Now, Fauci who is set to retire this month as the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the US has always emphasized the safety and efficacy of the approved Covid vaccines in preventing severe illness and deaths, encouraging people to get vaccinated and boosted as soon as possible, but that may not absolve him from allegations over his indirect indictment and collusion with the deadly lab.

Elon Musk’s recent tweet was too harsh as he remarked “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” and with whatever available facts we have, the condemnations are nowhere out of place.
The new Twitter owner addressed his nearly 121 million followers: “Forcing your pronouns upon others when they didn’t ask, and implicitly ostracizing those who don’t, is neither good nor kind to anyone. As for Fauci, he lied to Congress and funded gain-of-function research that killed millions of people. Not awesome IMO (in my opinion),” he mentioned.
The scientific community and government leaders however came in support of Fauci. In response to Musk’s blatant statement, surgeon/scientist David Gorski tried to save Fauci’s skin and stated – “You do realise that Anthony Fauci does not personally choose whose grant applications get funded, right? There’s a whole process, with two levels of review, a study section consisting of expert scientists to score the grants and then a council to prioritise which ones are funded. Antagonists like Berkley Professor and former Secretary of Labour Robert Reich said that Musk and his enablers have “turned this website into a torrent of ad hominem attacks, lies floated as jokes, and blatant misinformation”.
However, the damage has been already done.
