Nepal Helicopter Missing: A private helicopter carrying six people including five foreign nationals went missing on Tuesday morning, said Nepalese officials. Now, as per the latest report, the five foreign nationals on board have been killed after the helicopter operated by Manang Air crashed. “The chopper was en route to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu and got disconnected with the control tower at around 10 in the morning,” Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul told ANI on phone. The helicopter with the call sign 9NMV got off the radar at 10:12 AM (local time).
Five people die in the chopper crash
Five people who were on board the helicopter have been killed. As per Manang Air, the last location of the chopper was tracked at 10:12 am in the Lamjura Pass Area. The chopper was coming from Surke in Solukhunvhu district and was headed for Kathmandu.

The missing helicopter carried five Mexican nationals and pilot Chet B Gurung. The remains of five out of six individuals have been recovered.
Wreckage recovered
The wreckage of crashed Nepalese helicopter has also been recovered. “The helicopter has been found at the border of Likhu PK village council and Dudhkunda Municipality-2 commonly called Lamajura Danda. The villagers have retrieved the five bodies,” Koshi Province Police DIG Rajeshnath Bastola was quoted as saying by ANI.
