Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has armoured police cars outside of his Lahore residence, according to a top police official in Islamabad, who said that police are planning to arrest him.
Outside Imran Khan’s residence, PTI workers have started to gather.
An Islamabad court on Tuesday suspended the former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest until March 16. Imran Khan allegedly threatened a female magistrate while speaking to a crowd here last year.
Khan was given a non-bailable arrest warrant by the Islamabad district and sessions court on Monday for threatening Additional District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry and Islamabad police officers.
