The war between Russia and Ukraine is going on for the last 332 days. It is difficult to say how long the war will last. Here, the voice of ending the war has also started rising. Many countries are looking towards India with hope to make peace in Russia and Ukraine. Laura Haim, a French journalist, says there is a need for someone who can bring Ukraine and Russia to a table for talks. Many people are now saying that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi can play an important role in facilitating the start of the talks. However, it is looking extremely difficult at the moment as Ukraine no longer wants to discuss. He wants the International Court to take a decision regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Laura Haim said that she is surprised to see that people in America are not talking about the Russia-Ukraine war. Haim said in the interview that the war in Ukraine is going to last a long time. I am shocked to see that in America people are talking about the President, documents and Donald Trump and when you are in Europe, all you talk about is war. He said that no one knows what is going to happen in Ukraine.
He said that Russia is probably going to try to mobilize in a new way, probably preparing to carry out more attacks. It is possible that Kyiv may also start making rapid attacks. Ukrainians are very courageous. They are asking the West to help them.
He said- “The people of Ukraine are saying that they do not want to negotiate with Putin and they also want Crimea back. The Russians are bombing them all the time.”
America also gave a similar statement
US State Department spokesman Ned Price had given a statement on January 6 – We believe that countries like India, countries that have relations with Russia and Ukraine may be in a position to help with dialogue and diplomacy that may one day end this war.
Referring to PM Narendra Modi’s statement given in September last year, Ned Price had said that the Prime Minister of India publicly told Russian President Vladimir Putin that today’s era is not an era of war. We welcome India’s support for the people of Ukraine. India has called for an immediate end to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
‘Difficult for Ukraine to expel Russia’
US General Mark Milley has claimed that it is very difficult for Ukraine to expel the Russian army from its territory this year. According to media reports, Mark Milley said, “From a military point of view, I still maintain that this year it will be very difficult for the Ukrainian army to evict Russian troops from Russian-held territories.”
