Meta-owned social media platform Instagram has launched a new feature. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced this ‘channel’ feature of Instagram.
Zuckerberg has named the Instagram channel feature as Broadcast Chat. The Instagram channel feature will soon be rolled out to Messenger and Facebook as well.
In November last year, Meta had said that it would be rolling out multiple features for Instagram. Meta was also said to launch digital collectibles. Apart from this, the support of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) is also going to come soon on Meta’s platform.

Meta has been introducing monetization features for its social media for the past few months. Instagram is eyeing the earnings of influencers from TikTok. Billions of dollars of advertisements are being given on Tiktok. The gift option is coming soon with Instagram Reels. After the introduction of this feature, creators will be able to earn from their fans.
A few days ago news came that for Instagram Blue Tick, the company is now going to follow the path of Twitter, that means people will be able to buy Blue Tick by paying money on Instagram as well. Twitter is currently paying Rs 900 per month for Twitter Blue for mobile that is Android and iOS and Rs 650 per month for web users. There is no information about the price of Instagram’s Blue Tick yet.
