Iran Attack Israel: Last night, it was a horrific night for Israel as Iran fired at least 100 ballistic missiles at the country, that jolted the air raid sirens to a life. The attack has indeed sent an overwhelming signal that it might be a direct war and that the devastation which has been witnessed so far might be just the beginning. Shockingly, even the state-of-the-art defense system of Israel, the Iron Dome, which had successfully stopped similar attacks earlier as well, failed to bring down these missiles and instead raised tensions to greater heights. Netanyahu called for some constraint and warned Iran with much tougher words.
Iran’s Escalation and Response from Israel
The Iran Israel War is escalated to next level. The media report that Iran had launched about 180 ballistic missiles that targeted parts of Israel, including the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. This attack occurred barely a day after the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah, whom Iran earlier publicly promised revenge over his demise. Although Israel’s air defense intercepted many of the attacks, this resulted in significant damage and was considered the dangerous step by a long time already tense and contending nations of Iran and Israel.
Netanyahu’s Harsh Warning
A iron warning from the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, went to Iran as a declaration that it will have to face severe consequences for this attack. Netanyahu also thanked the United States for its sustained support as America’s alliance with Israel is crucial in this escalated war.
The IDF was well wary on the closing warning
Following the attack, the Israeli Defense Forces described the action taken by Iran as “a serious and dangerous escalation,” and vowed retaliation at a time and place Israel will choose. The strong statement by the IDF means that Israel will most probably retaliate with force against the aggression. With Iran’s aggressive move and Israel’s promise to retaliate; with America on Israel’s side, the world remains in speculation whether it would light another worldwide war. Now that the tension is already escalating, everyone waits for what Israel will do next and whether or not this is the start of an even greater war.
Israel Vows to Continue Strikes Against Hezbollah
Until it is safe for displaced residents to return to their homes near the Lebanese border, Israel has declared that it will keep attacking Hezbollah. There were multiple explosions heard close to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, though it was unclear at first if these were caused by falling missiles, attacks that were intercepted by Israeli security forces, or both. Israel and the United States have cautioned that if Iran attacks Israel, there will be dire repercussions. From the “White House Situation Room,” Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden kept an eye on the attacks on Israel.
