In the occupied West Bank, an Israeli aircraft struck a facility under a mosque that the IDF claimed was being used by militants to plan assaults. At least one casualty was recorded by Palestinian medics in this attack.

Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Gaza Claim Lives of 11 Palestinians, Target UN School Vicinity

According to Palestinian media, Israel has been carrying out strikes in the towns of Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing at least 11 Palestinians. In the southern metropolis of Gaza, residential buildings close to a UN school were targeted by another round of Israeli airstrikes. Forty more were injured, and seven casualties were reported by a family.

Israel reported that its planes hit Hezbollah sites in Lebanon on Saturday during cross-border combat, which the organisation supported by Iran claimed claimed the lives of six of its fighters. Israel’s Nili Unit Aims to Hunt Down Perpetrators of Recent Western Negev Attack

The new Nili unit of Israel‘s Shin Bet intelligence service is named after the Hebrew acronym for “The Eternity of Israel Will Not Lie.” The main objective of Nili is to locate and eliminate every individual involved in the most recent slaughter that took place in the western Negev communities on October 7, which happened two weeks ago. This specialised team was created with the express purpose of going after members of Hamas’s armed wing’s Nukhba special commando unit. These people broke into Israel, massacred large numbers of people in different communities and IDF outposts, and then fled back to the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Response to Escalating Threat

In response to repeated rocket and missile assaults by Hezbollah and affiliated Palestinian factions over the past two weeks, the Israel Defence Forces and Defence Ministry announce they intend to evacuate an additional 14 settlements near the Lebanese border. Together, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) declared that more northern Israeli communities would be included in the state-funded evacuation plan. The Ministry of Interior, NEMA, and the leaders of the local municipalities will carry out the strategy. Snir, Dan, Beit Hillel, She’ar Yashuv, Hagoshrim, Liman, Matzuva, Eylon, Goren, Gornot HaGalil, Even Menachem, Sasa, Tziv’on, and Ramot Naftali are among the additional communities.
