The southern part of Israel, which borders Gaza, has been retaken, according to the Israeli Defence Force. According to reports, Israel’s airstrikes overnight targeted the Gaza district of Qizan-an-Najjar, which is home to Mohammad Deif, the military leader of Hamas. US Sends ‘Advanced’ Ammunition to Israel with a Pledge of Unwavering Support
The Israel Defence Force stated that the first American aircraft carrying “advanced” ammunition had touched down at Nevatim Air Base in Israel. This round of ammunition, according to the army, is meant “to enable significant strikes and preparations for additional scenarios.” The US administration had already promised Israel its “rock solid and unwavering” support. In his most recent comments, US Vice President Joe Biden vowed support for Israel and warned those who would try to exploit the situation. The strikes by Hamas were described as “an act of absolute evil” by Biden, who also said that “We stand ready to move in additional assets as needed. “Let me say again to any country, any organisation, anyone thinking of taking advantage of the situation, I have one word: don’t,” the US president said.
Rockets Target Golan Heights, Sparking Israeli Response in Syria

Rome Citizens Show Solidarity with Israel as IDF’s Efforts and Toll of Conflict Mount
Following the fatal Hamas incursion, thousands of Rome citizens gathered and lighted candles in support of Israel. On Tuesday night in Rome, supporters of Israel rallied under the light of torches near Emperor Tito’s Arch. The IDF’s spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus, stated in a briefing that was published online that the Israeli military had bombarded neighbourhoods with airstrikes on Tuesday and had increased the number of reservists mobilised to 360,000. Additionally, it claimed to have effective control over the southern Israeli communities targeted by Hamas as well as the border with Gaza. Conricus claimed that the IDF has been concentrating on military targets and “striking Hamas targets with great power and severity” from the air. The death toll, he added, was “unimaginable”. “Over 2700 Israelis were injured, and there were over 1200 dead Israelis, the vast majority of them were civilians. And regrettably, I have a feeling that these figures are not final,” he added.
