Mahatma Gandhi statue defaced in Canada, Khalistani supporters spraypainted it with pro-Khalistan graffiti

Many incidents are being carried out one after the other by the supporters of Khalistan. Now the statue of Mahatma Gandhi has been vandalized in Ontario, Canada. Slogans supporting Khalistan and anti-India words have been written on this statue.

Earlier also a similar incident happened in Ontario. The incident was carried out in Richmond Hill City, Ontario at that time.

The statue has been installed since 2012

Bapu’s statue was carried out in the early hours of Thursday at City Hall in Hamilton Town. The flag of Khalistan has been put on the stick that Bapu is holding in the statue. This statue is six feet tall and has been installed at this place since the year 2012. It is being told that this statue was gifted by the Government of India.

On January 30, the Gauri Shankar Temple in Brampton, Canada was attacked. Slogans of ‘Khalistan Zindabad, Hindustan Murdabad’ were written on the walls of the temple. This incident had greatly angered the Indian community settled here. In February this year, the Government of India had expressed displeasure over the writing of anti-Hindu and anti-India things on the Ram temple in Mississauga, Canada.

July 2022 also had such an incident. At that time the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Vishnu temple located in Richmond Hill was defaced. In that incident too, the hand of Khalistan supporters was told. That case was investigated under hate crime. The Government of India was also very angry on that incident. So far no official statement has come from both the countries on this whole incident.
