The submarine Titan, which went to see the wreckage of Titanic, has been missing since Sunday. As time passes, the hopes of the trapped passengers to survive are diminishing. It is believed that there is only a few hours of oxygen left inside the submersible.
It is estimated that even under the best of circumstances, the submersible could run out of oxygen by Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, the US Coast Guard involved in the search operation has told that a Canadian aircraft has heard ‘voices’ underwater during the search for the submersible. After which hopes have risen once again.
There are five people inside this submersible, including a driver. One of these is British businessman Hamish Harding. Also present are Stockton Rush, chief executive of the submersible’s company ‘Oceangate’, Pakistan’s billionaire businessman Prince Dawood and his son Suleman. The company has charged a fee of Rs 2 crore per person from the three passengers who went on this mission.
Stockton Rush
He founded this company in 2009. Rush holds the record for Nia becoming the youngest Jet Transport Rated pilot. He achieved this feat at the age of 19. He received a DC-8 Type/Captain rating from the United Airlines Jet Training Institute in 1981. He holds a BSE in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Hamish Harding
Hamish Harding is a UK businessman, aviator and space tourist. who were living in the United Arab Emirates. He is the founder of Action Group and chairman of International aircraft brokerage company Action Aviation. Hamish Harding’s net worth is around Rs 8210 crore. Hamish Harding is the same person who collaborated with the Indian government in the project to bring cheetahs from Namibia. Harding is known for his exploratory expeditions around the world.
Harding holds several Guinness World Records for various missions as an explorer and space tourist. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and two sons, Rory and Giles, and a stepdaughter named Lauren and a stepson named Brian.
